Whenever I make lemon bars, I think of Laura. They were always her specialty which she made especially for our high school camping trips. Sure does bring back memories - those camping trips were full of drama. Ha Ha! Here's to good, tasty times with Laura's lemon bars...

You look so super cute in this picture....lemon bars remind me of living with the MacDonalds because they had a rule (of course with tons of dorm kids)that you could only have one bar.

Speaking of rules - Joel won't let his librarians put signs up in the library because he said he had a bad experiece with "signs" growing up. Laura Terry is at school here and last night was over for dinner and laughing really hard about Joel's reluctance to use signs - she says she COMPLETELY understands because she knew that he was talking about the El Paso guest house and the signs there! :) Takes an MK to know one, huh?
Oh yes! Say hi to Laura T. if you see her again. We've known their family a very long time. And the signs!! There used to be a sign on the ice cube trays that said to refill them! AAHHH!
Golly, I remember the 'signs' as well at El Paso. I felt like I was at boot camp, being trained to perfection!
Anne, are those lemon bars from Better Homes and Garden? They look exactly like the ones I've made before. I'll have to chime in that you are looking very cute.

Lemon bars...mmmm. I wish I was munching on some right now. And camping. But those are the days of yore. And guess what!?? I was in the EPGH at Christmas and the signs are STILL THERE!! YES! I was eating some cheddar bunnies in my room when my dad lept up in a crazed frenzy and said "LAURA, HAVEN'T YOU READ THE SIGN!!!???" And then we both chuckled a bit, but I did obey and put my delicious treats away.
And by the way, in MY dorm, there will be NO BAR LIMIT!! Well, at least maybe a 3 bar limit, but anything else seems criminal.
