Getting ready to start a race in Athens, GA a couple of weekends ago. I went with him and we stayed that night to watch a big pro race which was pretty exciting. There were about 4 crashes and they had to neutralize the race and start it over once b/c almost all of the riders went down in a big pile up... Thankfully no one was seriously hurt though.
More recently, one of James' good friends from Columbia was tangled up in a crash right in front of James and ended up with 42 stiches in his face as well as various other broken bones and road rash. James' has stayed out of any serious crashes so far this season and is actually doing quite well- placing in most of his races. This past weekend, he did a long (100 miles and then a one hour climb) ride up to Ceasar's Head with his team. Go Jimmy!
