I am no photographer, but maybe this will give an idea of what the kitchen looks like. It was not exactly in it's most cleanly state at the time the picture was taken.
Here's the other side with the stove and, Laura will notice, a lovely blue monogrammed apron hanging on the pantry door.
This is the view from the dining room into the living room. I just took this one because I really like the French doors...
Here's most of the living room...
One view of the dining room...
... and one more looking into the kitchen.
Here's a quick shot of the "green room" as we call it. I love this little orange chair that I found at my favorite consignment shop.
This is the bedroom. And just in case anyone thinks the paint looks pink or mauve... It isn't! It's actually a very lovely "mocha." - Also not in it's most cleany state.
So there you have it. But due to my sadly lacking skill as a photographer it's really much nicer in person, so come see it for yourselves! ;->

YESSSS!! It looks awesome - very homey and warm and inviting, and thus I invite myself soon to visit. Can't wait until this summer - are you going to be working or will you be spending much of your time traveling to Summerville to spend the days with me and my girls...? Ha!
The house is great! It's nice that you have been able to do so much to it in such a short time, ours still isn't together after 9 months!
We HAVE been there . . . and attest to the fact that it is soooo homey. I love Anne's taste! Wonder where she got it?! Just kidding! Her taste and ideas are all her own! A gift from God! :->
Anne, I love the the bright colors and all your decorating. You are quite good. :) Maybe I'll see you this summer when Matt and I come to see Laura and her fam. I never did get to see your ring, but I think it's on Lucas's website and I believe your John has similar taste to my Matt b/c they have a similar theme. I love it!!
opps how embarressing...it's Jonathan...sorry bout that...and I hate when people do that to us
Anne, your house looks a little like Pier 1. I LOVE it. Looks much different then your taste from the ol' "Mountain Days."
